Picking the right lickimat
All dogs are unique and different in their own way – just like humans.
LickiMats are vet designed and provide a perfect treat licking and feeding surface for dogs. LickiMats encourage licking action in dogs, whether for eating treats or food.
LickiMats allow you to spread out the dog food or treat on the mat surface or press the dog food or treat into the mat surface, encouraging your dog to lick and lick and lick to get the food or treat as a reward.

The size of dog does not really matter unless you want to use LickiMats as a bowl replacement. We have happy Great Danes and Chihuahuas using LickiMats.
LickiMat® Classic
LickiMat Classics come in three surfaces: Buddy, Playdate and Soother.

Playdate™ has discrete pockets that will contain food. Liquids are easier to manage and keep separate from other food or treats.

Buddy™ has a more complex surface and still allows separation of foods and treats.

Soother™ is exactly what the name says. It allows soft and liquid foods to be licked out with extra tongue simulation.
The surface patterns of the three models differ a little to better suit different types of foods, treats and liquids. All three surfaces are suitable for raw, wet, dry and liquid dog food, as well as any manner of treat.
The Soother is the most challenging of the three surfaces, and is best suited for soft, runny and liquid foods and treats. It is preferred for liquids such as the juice from BBQ chicken or roasts as it gives the tongue an exquisite workout.

LickiMat Tuff™
LickiMat Tuff mats are suitable for raw, wet, dry and liquid dog food, as well as any manner of dog treats and spreads.
If your dog is a naughty chewer, or a teething puppy, then you should definitely select from the LickiMat Tuff range or Slomo models. They are virtually indestructible. Please make sure you supervise your dog when first introducing them to LickiMat.
